Mill Audit

In order to evaluate the detailed status of the Mill a general mill audit is necessary. The basis for this audit is the detailed survey of the housing and the related chocks. With our optical 3D laser technology we are able to determine the geometrical condition of those components with precision of up to 0,03 mm. Part of these Audit is the technical inspection of the mill and the site inspection for planning possible future refurbishment projects.

Milling of Stand Window

The milling will be done based on the optimized, new geometry that has been clarified and jointly confirmed. For this task we utilize our high precision, digitally controlled on-site milling machines, designed and built especially for use in on-site environments of steel mills.

Clamping Repairs

The clamping system is responsible for securing the backup chock in the axial position. Due to the actual axial force the clamping system is often worn out or instable.

Wear Plate Supplier

The CORC-g compound steel liners are properly installed by our team and will have very little wear. The new liners will be corrosion and abrasion protected made from original CORTS® Compound Steel CORC-g®-stainless.
